Moms :D

Today is Mother's Day.
(I know, NO DUH, MEGS)
Sorry, I didn't really have a better lead sentence for this post.
Anyway, I'm going to take the time to write about my many moms.
Before you ask...I only have one biological mother, thank you very much.
But I do have many moms.
There's my biological mom, my godmother, my grandmother, and my youth leader, Momma Joy.
I have a lot to celebrate today, because these women have impacted my life in some way or another. I love them all to death. Really.
My godmother is also my aunt. I don't get to see her as much as I used to, and I miss her, but she is a fun, loving person. :D And, if she happens to be reading this, she'd better know that.
My grandmother spoils me. In a good way, though. She's fun to be around, and never treats me like a child. I'm her "favorite oldest granddaughter". (Which I can brag about, I'm one of her two granddaughters and the oldest of them. ;))
My youth leader, Momma Joy, is an amazing woman. I admire her greatly for putting up with all of us. Lol. And you honestly can't imagine how big her heart is. She loves all of us as her children, (Even though she has 2 biological ones to look after already) and we all know her door and her heart are always open for one more...or two or three more. :D
Then, of course, there's my mom.
Get comfy, this may take awhile.
My mom is THE kindest, most caring, loving, wonderful, amazing, fantastic, and fun loving mom in the entire world. Period. She's my best friend. he's easy to talk to, hard to make angry, and always supports us and all we do. I really don't deserve a mom like her. She'll be the first to admit that she's not perfect, and believe me, I know, but at the same time, that's one of the things I admire about her. She can admit when she's wrong.
Not only is she all of that, but she's a pretty awesome teacher as well. How she remembers the thousands of students she's had over the years is beyond me. She always makes them smile. You have no idea how many people come up to me and will say "Ohmigosh I love your mom!!"
I love my mom, too. That's always my reply.
She, like Momma Joy, always has room for one more. She loves my friends like her other daufghtters, and they know she's there for them, too.
So, to my best friend, personal chauffer, teacher, guardian angel...to my mom (and all my other moms, and all moms around the world...)
Happy Mothers Day.
God bless.
I love you to pluto and back again. (Even though pluto's not a planet any more.)
Probably even more.
Megs ♥
