Answering Machines

Riiiinnnng.
Riiiinnnnng.
Riiiinnnng.
Riiinnng.
"Hey, you've reached Megan, sorry I can't come to the phone right now, but if you leave your name, number, and a brief message, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks, Byyye!"
BEEEP.
That's what my answering machine on my cell phone sounds like.
Do you ever wish you could change your answering machine to match your mood that day, without all the hassle of  'press one for this' and 'if you are satisfied with-' blah blah blah?
Think about it. I could have "Hey, you've reached Megan, sorry I can't come to the phone right now, but...
-I'm eating dinner, and you really don't want to hear me talk with my mouth full.
-I'm mad at the world today, and don't want to talk to any of you.
-I'm depressed. Leave me alone.
-I'm out and about with my (insert title of some person here)!!
-Jasmine is holding me hostage
and so on and so forth.
Leaving messages for people would be a lot more interesting, no?
I know what your thinking: 'Megs, why in the world are you talking about stupid answering machines?'
Well, because of a couple things.
One, I mentioned my home answering machine in my first post.
It goes a little like this:
Dad: Hi, this is the preacher!
Mom: Hi, this is the teacher!
Dad: In other words, you've reached the
(blah blah blah leave a message blah blah.)
Apparently, we have an "adorable" answering machine.
Whatever. ;)
The second reason, is because I was thinking about what I would record for today. It would probably go like this:
"Hey, you've reached Megan. Right now, I'm not up for talking. I'm anticipating some thunder and lightning between the parted clouds. Don't take this the wrong way,I'm not mad at anyone or whatever. Love you darling, and leave a message, maybe I'll feel like talking later. I've got some serious praying to do.
Buh Bye."
